Kim Filiatrault
Kim Filiatrault is the Founder and President of Kimputing, based in Austin, Texas. Originally from Canada, Kim has called Texas home since 1999. He has spent nearly 40 years in the IT industry, with more than 35 of those years dedicated to automation and generative technologies, long before they became industry buzzwords.
Over the decades, Kim has held roles in enterprise architecture, test strategy, and automation leadership, with a deep specialization in the insurance sector. He has worked closely with major insurers across North America and Europe to implement and streamline systems and bring clarity and structure to complex testing landscapes.
Today, Kim leads the development of a test automation platform purpose-built to support insurance system upgrades, cloud migrations, and both functional and non-functional validation. He continues to lead innovation in insurance technology and remains a strong advocate for pragmatic, outcome-focused test practices.
