Millan Kaul is a Quality Engineering leader with 17 years of experience across Asia, Australia, Canada, and the U.S.—bringing a global lens to building high-performing teams and cultivating quality-first cultures. From startups to scale-ups to global enterprises, Millan has led initiatives across banking, IoT, fuel analytics, banking and payments technology, always with a focus on accessibility, scalability, and engineering excellence.
He shares practical insights on Quality Engineering, leadership, and team dynamics. And he is passionate about transforming how leaders approach quality, scaling systems with confidence and empowering teams through clarity, context, and care.
Millan values real connections — and is a frequent speaker at global conferences and community meetups, as well as co-host for the Sydney Testers and Innovate QA Seattle meetup plus an active member and speaker at YVRTesting in Vancouver. Most recently, he co-organized Innovate QA Conference in Seattle on 5th June 2025.
He enjoys long walks with his better half and also loves building IoT projects— as of June 2025 having created 10 Fitbit (now Google) smartwatch apps (fitbit app store) and also published his own VS Code extension.
